Group Four (fade out) Notes: This was my second time recording at The Paramount (the first being last night for Yeah Yeah Yeahs). Instead of the balcony, though, this time I had a main floor ticket and it was a different experience. The sound is definitely better down there but you have to stand up which sucks compared to the comfort of the chairs in the balcony. Also, you have to make sure that you stay out from under the balcony overhang lest you get stuck in a shitty echo spot and pull a crappy tape. This was my first time seeing Massive Attack since they tour the United States once every fifty years or so. I honestly wouldn't have gone if a friend of mine hadn't coerced me to go and tape it for him, but I'm glad I did. It was good. They perform their album cuts in a live setting impressively, incorporating two drum kits, electric guitar, bass guitar, and keyboards. Audience can be loud at times, but this recording has very nice sound.
